EUCLID is pleased to announce that its headquarters agreement with the Central African Republic has been strengthened by means of an additional Protocol, signed in New York on September 20th, 2018 by EUCLID Under-Secretary-General Robin van Puyenbroeck and Minister of Foreign Affairs Charles Armel Doubane who is attending the opening session of the UN General Assembly.
The Protocol clarifies the status and privileges of EUCLID in the Central African Republic with provisions for:
- tax provisions and exemptions
- issuance of apostille with degrees
- special status of delegations
- relationship with ministries and agencies.
The two officials discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and noted the significant ‘footprint’ of EUCLID in diplomatic circles and at the United Nations.
