ABOUT GLOBAL HEALTH AND BIOETHICS AT EUCLID

800-engelhardt

The Engelhardt School of Global Health and Bioethics is a specialized academic unit within EUCLID (Euclid University), an intergovernmental higher education framework and institution established in 2008 under United Nations Treaty Series 49006/49007.

It brings together the institution’s expertise in related areas of knowledge and practice (climate, diplomacy, public administration, religion) to offer uniquely specialized graduate programs in global health and bioethics.

Inspired by the standard-setting excellence of UCSF in the United States, the Engelhardt School of Global Health and Bioethics at EUCLID became an autonomous academic unit with EUCLID (Euclid University) in 2015.

It is responsible for the delivery of EUCLID’s flagship online master’s and doctorate (Ph.D) in International Public Health that have trained a number of civil international public servants.

Point of note: EUCLID was listed in the Top 50 list of institutes and schools of global health included in Springer’s recent textbook entitled Global Population Health and Well-Being in the 21st Century: Toward New Paradigms, Policy, and Practice  (by George Lueddeke).
